BusterJack ![]() As you are probably aware, Dogs Trust will never destroy a healthy dog and although most of the dogs who pass through their doors find a new home within weeks, some need a little extra care. They have behavioural issues or medical problems that mean they may remain with Dogs Trust all their lives. These dogs can be sponsored by members of the public for as little as £1 a week and DRAT sponsors BusterJack who lives just down the road at Dogs Trust, Snetterton. BusterJack is nearly four years old and is a Springer Spaniel / Jack Russell cross so, as you can imagine, he is a very lively and intelligent chap. He has had some bad luck in his life and has been returned to Dogs Trust on a couple of occasions, mainly because he has developed some obsessive chasing behaviours (shadows mostly!) and tends to get a bit upset if he is distracted from his 'hobby'. We met BusterJack on Easter Monday 2010 when he came with his carer, Sarah, to take part in the World Horse Welfare's dog show and we felt he deserved the chance to shine. So we arranged for him to come to agility lessons on Thursdays at 7.30. He is a little star and enjoys his nights out (especially as he gets to go home with Sarah instead of going back to his kennel!).
